What is a Community Cleanup?
Teaching young minds, starting them early!
To promote waste reduction, recycling and reuse and create public awareness on waste management and environmental concerns. To improve outdoor recreational activities of the community. To help reduce the greenhouse gases and fight climate change; improving the quality of the natural environment.
These kids brings volunteers together to clean, repair, and improve public spaces or other areas (such as vacant lots or abandoned properties) that have been neglected, vandalized, or misused. Kids around the world gather on beaches, coasts, rivers, waterways and underwater dive sites to remove trash and record information on the debris collected.
